Finance Administrator

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Finance Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

Remote Recruitment places South African talent with UK employers, and this is a full-time, 100% remote position working UK business hours. In this role, you will own the day-to-day finance admin that keeps a UK team's books accurate. You will join a friendly team, work with clear processes, and have the support you need to do your best work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders

• Prepare payment runs for approval

• Reconcile bank statements to the ledger each week

• Maintain tidy finance records and filing

• Answer routine supplier and staff finance queries

What you'll need

• Experience in finance or bookkeeping administration, with examples of accurate month-end support

• Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage

• Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables

• A reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace

• Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)

Nice to have

• Experience with Dext or Hubdoc

• Familiarity with UK VAT

• Experience supporting month-end close
